The Band The last eighteen months have been great for Clacket Lane. The band were signed to Electronic Alchemy Records and went on to release their debut double A-Side single ‘When the Night Comes’ & ‘Out of the Dark’ - which is available on itunes, Napster and all major digital download stores. The release of the single was accompanied with a video for ‘When the Night Comes’ - directed by Angus Giorgi whose previous projects include Executive Producer on music video ‘Torn’ for Natalie Imbruglia. The video is currently being shown on Bubble Hits TV, Fizz TV, MTV International, Toni & Guy TV, Topshop TV, all major health clubs and airports across the UK. More recently the band have appeared on Mercury FM, BBC Radio Kent, ARFM, and Radio Caroline. Alongside this the band continue to tour the country and Universities promoting the singles and forthcoming album.   Clacket Lane have a unique style and proudly admit their influences come from a great love of Seventies progressive rock which shines through in their performances in which the broad dynamic range of Ben Freebury’s voice and the impeccable drumming of Mick Bennett provide a solid base for a memorable and original sound.   During the Spring of 2007, Clacket Lane have been on tour over London and the UK promoting their second release, 'Moon Man'. The tour has been a terrific success and was supported by the charity Shelter. In return, the band wrote a song specifically for the tour entitled 'The Tramp' A special edition four-track EP has been available at all the band's performances with proceeds donated to the charity. The tour drew to a close on the 29th July when the band were asked to perform at the Secret Garden Party in Huntingdon.
