In Mick's Words...
Starting from the age of 11 I had drum lessons from two well established pro drummers; Paul Elliot a fantastic rock drummer and Frank Scully a top jazz drummer, both true showmen. I started playing in bands at the age of 15 and after playing at a jam night in 1992 I met Len which was the start of a wonderful friendship and I have been playing and performing with him ever since.

I have played in a number of well established bands which have been main support acts for people such as The Bluetones, Shed Seven, The Undertones, Spear of Destiny, 999, The Soundtrack of Our Lives, and SLF to name a few. With Clacket Lane we have had the joy of supporting acts such as Razorlight, Boy Kill Boy, Lucy Silvas and The Feeling. Clacket Lane has been gigging for about seven years and all members have struck up fantastic relationships with each other and each others families.
I see us as a live band which is where you will see us at our best, doing what we love to do, getting our music out there. My hopes are for people to enjoy what we do.
My main influences are me myself and ho-ye RICK ASTLEY.
